• You MUST send your passport along with your application as the Visa is placed IN the passport. Visa is issued at the discretion of the Embassy.
• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the intended exit date and contain a sufficient amount of blank pages for entry stamps and visas.
• You Must include 1 original recent passport photo. Photos must show a full FRONT VIEW of the face and must be taken against WHITE PLAIN background. Otherwise visa will not be processed. Do not attach photos with staples.
• Please provide a letter from the host organization at your destination. The letter must be on letterhead and describe the purpose of your journey:
- reason for travel
- contact names
- phone Numbers
- dates
The letter must indicate that the host organization will be financially responsible for the applicant while he/she is in the country. A copy of the letter is acceptable.
• You must provide documentation of loss of citizenship of you previously held citizenship of USSR or Belarus.
• Traveler has 3 business days to register visa after arrival.
- 1. A registration card can be stamped free of charge by the hotel (if staying in a hotel), unless the hotel is not authorized to register visa
- 2. If traveler is staying at private residence, he/she should get in touch with local police precinct or his/her host or landlord to help finding the closest to the place of stay. To register visa there, traveler will have to present the following documents:
- original passport with valid Belarus visa;
- original Migration Card;
- written permission from a landlord or ask the landlord to accompany;
- valid Belarus travel insurance. If traveler do not have one, he/she can buy it at the airport upon arrival (costs $1 for each of 2 days in Belarus);
- receipt of payment for registration (around $8). In most cases, it can be paid on the spot.
• Please submit 2 copies of the completed Visa application form, on plain bonded white paper, with the applicant's original ink signature.
