Requirements

The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through the Ministry of INTERIOR. Once the application is approved, it is sent to MOFA, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send the authorization directly to the Consulate. The sponsor must provide the applicant with the authorization date and number. Please attach visa slip to application.

Please submit:

  Visa application form (Typed out or hand written in block letters), please see "Form B" below.

  One recent (No more than a month old) photographs (4x6 cm) on a plain white background (write name, signature and stamp date on back).

  A valid passport for six months at least from the application date including the place of birth and two blank side by side pages (Original & one copy).

  Proof of relationship to the sponsor (the Islamic marriage certificate certified by The Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs).

  Non-Canadian applicants must submit a notarized photocopy of their valid residency permit (Permanent Residence Card). Send only a copy of the front and back sides of the PR card. The copy must be notarized by a Notary Public and stamped by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Development. The Notary must state on the copy that it's a true copy of the original. (New Requirement)

  Copy of PASSPORT OF sponsor.

  A Completely filled out medical report form that MUST BE:

    Valid, less than Three months from the date of issue.
  • b
    The physician used a CHECK MARK (✔) for POSITIVE RESULTS OR NEGATIVE RESULTS only.
  • c
    The report certified by college of physicians of the issuing province (Original Only).
  • d
    Copy of all required test results.
  • e
    (HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C - please attach copy of these test results after the medical report right away).

    If any of the above 4 results are positive+, the doctor must provide a typed explanation of why they are positive.
  • g
    If medical report is done outside of Canada, it must be authenticated by the KSA Embassy in that country.

    If the medical report is issued in KSA it must be authenticated by MOFA.

  An original valid Canadian Police Records Check. (Less than three months from the issuing date - you can obtain this certificate simply by NAME SEACH only and no need for fingerprint processing).

  Proof of conversion to Islam (if you converted to Islam or if it is required by ministry of interior).

  Flight Itinerary must be provided with consideration of the following points:
  • a
    The KSA Embassy has advised that no ticket should be purchased before issuance of the visa.
  • b
    The KSA Embassy in Ottawa can issue visas that allow travelers to enter KSA by air exclusively. No Entry By Land.
  • c
    Please ensure that your entry airport is the closest to your sponsor's location. The port of entry to KSA must be the same or the closest airport to the location of the sponsor. If the sponsor invited the applicant to conduct business/visit in a different city other than the one displayed in the company's Registration Certificate, the sponsor must provide a letter in Arabic explaining the reason for this. An example can be for conducting business in a another branch/location of the company.

  Female applicant (if applying without her husband) over 18 must have consent letter from her husband if she is married or notarized letter that she is not married.

  Please submit the second page of form B: "NOTIFICATION TO ALL AGENTS AND ALL APPLICANTS"
