Requirements

Please submit:

  Visa application form filled out completely and accurately, please see "Form B" below.

  Original Canadian passport valid at least for six months (separate passport for the newborn).

  The Child's Canadian birth certificate indicating the names of the mother and the father must be:
  
  • a
    Notarized by a Canadian notary public or a commission of oath.
  • b
    Authenticated by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs.

  Copy of the residency permit (IQAMA) of both parents.
• 5
  Letter from the Saudi sponsor certified by a Saudi Chamber of Commerce confirming the employment of either parent, job title, residency permit number and expiry date, and indicating that the sponsor has no objection child residing in Saudi Arabia. (we suggest that you obtain visa authorization for the newborn as this will secure issuance of the visa)

  Covering letter requesting the visa from the Consular Section.

  Original mother's passport.

  Copy of the father's passport.

  One recent (No more than a month old) photographs (4x6 cm) on a plain white background (write name, signature and stamp date on back).

  Flight Itinerary must be provided with consideration of the following points:
  • a
    Must be signed and dated by the applicant.
  • b
    The KSA Embassy has advised that no ticket should be purchased before issuance of the visa.
  • c
    The KSA Embassy in Ottawa can issue visas that allow travelers to enter KSA by air exclusively. No Entry By Land.
  • d
    Please ensure that your entry airport is the closest to your sponsor's location. The port of entry to KSA must be the same or the closest airport to the location of the sponsor. If the sponsor invited the applicant to conduct business/visit in a different city other than the one displayed in the company's Registration Certificate, the sponsor must provide a letter in Arabic explaining the reason for this. An example can be for conducting business in a another branch/location of the company.

  Please submit the second page of form B: "NOTIFICATION TO ALL AGENTS AND ALL APPLICANTS"

  Proof of sponsor’s valid Iqamah: Please provide a screenshot from www.absher.sa showing the expiry dates of your sponsor’s Iqamah.
